Amazon.com Product Description This Formula 1 Chronograph Watch from TAG Heuer might just withstand a collision on the racetrack. Ideal for any athlete, this watch's masculine stainless-steel band joins to a sturdy 41-millimeter-in-diameter stainless-steel case topped by a sporty titanium carbide coated unidirectional bezel printed with large, silver-tone Arabic numerals in increments of five. Its impressive scratch-resistant sapphire-coated dial window reveals a black dial with silver-tone hour indicators and luminescent silver-tone hands. Three subdials and a discreet date window at the four o'clock add to the appeal. This watch also offers a triple-link stainless steel bracelet, precise Swiss quartz movement, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba diving.

Nice Classic Looking Watch March 17, 2010 Bubbles-Desmo (Bay Area, CA) I just purchased this watch through amazon.com. It was either this or the formula one alarm version at costco. The alarm feature on the other version isn't very useful so I decided against it. Packaging was nice, came in the tag box and case with manual. I like the look of chronograph watches and the additional feature to stopwatch anything is something i wanted to time rides, drives, runs etc...
Style is up to taste, but I find this a simple casual style watch you can wear with a t-shirt or be formal with a suit.
The two buttons on it are pretty easy to use, one to start/split and the other to stop/reset.
The watch has two main features, one is to tell time, and the other is the chronograph.
For telling time, the big red "second" hand doesn't move and hovers over the 12 o'clock mark. The dial on bottom serves as the second hand and moves continuously.
In Chronograph mode, the top right dial only moves after you stop the stopwatch or to do a split time. It will move to show the time in 1/10. The large red second hand will start to move once you are in chronograph mode and the left dial will move for minutes. I'm not sure, but I assume if you do something for over 30 minutes, then the dial will continually move and reset at 1minute.
Overall - I'm very happy with it. I believe Amazon has the lowest price on the web and they give a 2 year warranty which equals TAGs. Costco has a similar warranty deal as well. The prices are better than ebay, and those guys don't even offer a warranty period. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is it's reliability and service life. For something you pay $750+ for, you expect it to last nearly a lifetime, This will remain to be seen.
I've also noticed when I purchased, the price fluctuates between 729-749 day to day. So if you're patient, just keep on checking to save that extra $20.00
Great Tag Heuer. February 4, 2010 M. Halus (Santa Fe, New Mexico, US) I was bit nervous about ordering a fine watch over the internet, but my fears were baseless. I love this watch. It is exactly what was advertised. The only downside is that since Amazon is not an official Tag Heuer retailer you don't get an official warranty card. However Amazon does provide a comparable 2 year warranty. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.
Great Customer Service November 21, 2009 AliHawk (BAH) The watch looks great and quality is perfect.
Bought this watch for my brother. They sent me the model with rubber strap by mistake. I showed to my bro and he liked it, so Watch Grabber refunded me the diff in price.
quality of the clock November 3, 2009 Bci Gold 2 out of 12 found this review helpful
The clock is beautiful but him encontre a small detail underneath the crystal, a mark and in amazon have not helped me to be able to solve the subject with the clock.
they say that already after the month nothing can be done, I to me I only request another new clock.
The Tag Heuer F1 Is a Classic Timepiece October 11, 2009 Ski-Niko (NY, NY) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The F1 Tag has been around forever, and unlike some other Tag styles (which have come and gone) it's a classic. Many other watch manufacturers have copied it. Along with the Link series, I would say this is one of the most popular Tag lines. I admit it's not a dress watch per se, but the latest incarnation is very sharp and one can wear it with a suit. Quality is top notch! I believe the black chronograph is the best of them' all.
This is my first watch purchase from Amazon, and you cannot beat the price. A very well known watch store by me was at least $350 more (plus tax). Amazon offers it own guarantee on the watches they sell but beyond that I have nothing more to add. Rest assured though, the watches are authentic and the savings cannot be ignored. (make sure the seller is Amazon)
